5th Annual Sporting Clays Event

The fresh spring air, the flying clays, and some good company could only mean one thing: On River Time’s Annual Selwood Sporting Clays Event! This year’s event was better than ever!

Held at the beautiful Selwood Farm in Alpine, Alabama, the 5th Annual Sporting Clays, hosted by our Junior Board, was more than just a competition — it was a chance to share our empowering mission and to support the lives of the children in our partner homes.

Participants made their way through a fun yet challenging 18-station course. From experienced shooters to those picking up a shotgun for the very first time, everyone had a blast! Thanks to the incredible team at Selwood Farm and their beautiful venue, the day was not only well organized, but also truly meaningful for everyone involved.

Every clay that was shot supported On River Time’s mission: to empower children of abuse and neglect by providing them with transformative outdoor experiences. Proceeds from the event directly fund camp, SOAR programing, and scholarships. We love to see our student’s grow into successful, young adults. With your support, we can help them access education opportunities they might have never dreamed possible.

Events like this aren't possible without our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and supportive community. Your contributions go far beyond the range — they ripple into the lives of the children we serve all year long.

Whether you're a sporting clays pro or just want to make a difference, we’d love to see you on the range next year. Keep an eye on our website and social channels for registration details, and join us in making a lasting impact, one clay at a time!
